Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986, in Hereford. She gained the attention of the world in the year 2010 by releasing her hit singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly rose to the top of the charts due to her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the top of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music, and independent, artistic pop. Her soprano and her knack for writing emotionally honest songs make her stand out. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign Goulding and was making plans to release her debut album.
