Lis Wehl was born on August 19, 1961 in the US, is an author and former legal expert for Fox News.
She is an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. Prior to that she was an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight The Imus morning shows, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She received her bachelor's degree at Barnard College, followed by a master's degree in literature from the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was an US Attorney. She was a legal correspondent on the NPR program All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. She was a law professor as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 to 2001. Wiehl worked as a Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
