It is a professional athlete that has earned a name for herself within American culture. She is among only six female athletes who won all five Alpine Skiing World Cup events. She was the winner of the World Cup 82 times. She is one of the best skiers and racers of the US. She retired after a long list of illnesses. The announcement of her retirement came through social media. My last race of my professional career is scheduled to be on the island of Re Sweden next week, at the Downhill World Championships, as well as SG World Championships.
