Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles won the floor and vault at the 2011 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the highest level of competition in 2011. She was the most dominant in her sport just two years later. What stood Biles out was her constancy her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of difficulty she integrated into her workout routines for all four events--vault uneven bars balance beam as well as the floor workout.
